1.  Inventory / Purchasing Analyst – Dieppe, New Brunswick

TRC Hydraulics Inc. is seeking an Inventory/Purchasing Analyst.  As a newly created position of the Corporate team located in Dieppe, NB, the applicant will be tasked with day-to-day tasks related to the management and functioning of the department, including:

  • Lead the process improvement initiative for Purchasing and Inventory
  • Coordinate all related functions within the Company
  • Assess, recommend, implement and maintain standards for data files.
  • Clean existing data base to meet standards
  • Oversee completion and accuracy of vendor pricing updates
  • Monitor inventory usage, increase turns and identify slow moving stock
  • Develop and execute plans to deplete slow moving stock while maximizing recovery value
  • Maintain vendor rebate files
  • Negotiate with vendors
  • Consolidate vendors to maximize buying power and reduce redundancy
  • Such other duties as may be determined by the Company

 

A well suited applicant should possess the following;

  • Hydraulic industry and product knowledge are considered definite assets
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO ERP would be considered an asset
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft software, especially Excel
  • Previous experience with purchasing and inventory functions
  • Detailed Oriented with attention to detail
  • Ability to gain an understanding of new concepts quickly
  • Ability to solve problems on your own with little supervision
  • Be a leader and possess the ability to work well with others while meeting deadlines

2. Mobile Mechanic – Full Time Position – Dartmouth NS, Paradise NFLD, and Dieppe NB

TRC Hydraulics Inc. is looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join its team on a full time basis located in Dartmouth NS, Paradise NFLD, and Dieppe NB.

Main duties will include the following :

  • Inspect mobile equipment and diagnose problems and determine repairs needed
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets manufacturers specs
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on various equipment
  • Provide written inspection reports to service manager
  • Must be a team player and have customer satisfaction a priority
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision
  • Must have a professional attitude and work safely at all times
  • Outside service will be required at times with possible overnight stays
  • Overtime and some weekend work may be required depending on the work load
  • Perform other duties requested by the service manager from time to time
